How to Spa

The Treetop Spa is accessible to hotel residents only. Monday – Sunday | 8am – 9pm. Hotel residents can enjoy early access to the Treetop Spa from 12noon on the day of check in, to check out at 11am. Resident spa treatments are available Monday - Sunday | 10am - 6.30pm  

The spa is an adult-only environment and is only open to persons aged 16 and over. All 16/17-year-olds must be always accompanied by an adult while in the spa.

The Treetop Spa boasts a outdoor pool, hot tub, relaxation cabana, sauna, steam room & conservatory, equipped with two heated marble loungers and woodburning stove plus 4 newly opened treatment rooms. 

Hotel Residents can book a treatment with one of world-class spa therapists. Indulge in one of our bespoke treatments using prestigious British skincare ELEMIS. Robes and flip flops are provided in your room. If you require an alternative size, please contact Reception. You are welcome to bring your own appropriate footwear to navigate the spa e.g., sliders & flip flops. You may collect a towel at Spa entrance for use during you time at the spa.

All valuables should be stored in your guestroom. Please note, we recommend that you do not bring valuables into The Spa, the use of mobile phones is permitted on silent, however The Old Inn do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items.

Smoking and the use of drugs in the spa is strictly prohibited. Guests can enjoy drinks in The Conversatory relaxation area of the spa only.

We welcome expectant mothers to enjoy the relaxing surroundings and facilities of the Treetop Spa. There are however some of the experiences that due to the jets and extremes in temperature are not recommended during pregnancy, such as the outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room.

It is important that you advise us in advance of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your treatment when making your reservation. We are unable to offer spa treatments to guests who have received General Anaesthetic within the last three months. You will receive a medical form via email which we ask that you complete before arrival so that we may review to avoid any disappointment.

Smoking, e-cigarettes and the use of drugs in the Treetop Spa is strictly prohibited. It is also advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol and heavy meals before, or immediately after any Spa treatment. For your well-being, whilst availing of the Treetop Spa facilities, the Management reserves the right to stop serving alcohol to any guest who may be visibly under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol that is bought in the Treetop Spa may only be consumed in this area.

Please note that if you have had surgery in the past 3 months, you will be unable to avail of a treatment. Therefore, we kindly ask that you arrive having completed your medical questionnaire in advance if you are booked to receive a treatment. We are delighted to offer Recovery Spa treatments. Many of our treatments can be adapted to meet individual needs for guests who have previously experienced or are currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Take time out and enjoy some much-needed pampering in the safe hands of our professional Spa Therapists who have completed TPOT (The Power of Touch) training. 

Please note that a discretionary 5% gratuity for your therapist will be added to your bill. You have the option of removing this from your bill should you prefer

Please allow 72 hours notice of any cancellation or postponement of Treatments or Services booked during your stay. If your Treatment and/or Service is not cancelled within the specified cancellation period, we reserve the right to charge 100% cancellation fee to the credit card given at the time of booking.

Reservations may be cancelled or amended by 12 noon 5 days prior to arrival without charge. Any cancellations or amendments made after this time are subject to 100% fixed cancellation charge paid as compensation for loss suffered. You must be over 16 years of age to use the Spa. Spa treatments are only available to over 18s only.
